YTR’s Long-Awaited Comeback: What’s New for 2025?!

After an unnoticed hiatus due to a hectic personal schedule, 97.8 Your Tune Radio (YTR) is gearing up for a comeback to kick off the fresh new year this January 2025. 

"It was semi-decided that we would be having a comeback special via live broadcast—could also be not a comeback special but a normal live,” shared Kaei, Manager of YTR, during a spur-of-the-moment meeting with executives and junior executives. 

According to Kaei, the tentative topic for the live session is “We Listen and We Don’t Judge,” scheduled for Sunday, January 19, 2025. 

“It was supposed to be decided na mag rebrand pero di nakeri ng powers so instead of rebranding, it was more of an update. Update with the template, layout, covers, StreamYard cover, OBB. Still with YTR's color, purple.” Kaei added. 

Under the direction of Kyu Okkatsu, Director of YTR, and in coordination with Junior Executive Editor Kazumi Okkatsu and other executives, the group decided to maintain its brand identity with its iconic purple color while enhancing the overall style and design. 

Additionally, the group plans to gradually revive recorded content featuring their voice actors and schedule live broadcasts with their DJs. 

While everything is still in the planning stage, tuners are encouraged to stay tuned for further announcements, which will be posted on the official page soon.
